About

Born in the south Florida suburbs and homeschooled as a kid, Sarah is a genre fluid writer/director who has worked in New York, London, Paris, and currently resides in Los Angeles. A hopeless romantic, she thrives in telling love-conquers-all stories through underrepresented perspectives and digs the intersection of fantasy and reality.

Sarah was one of five filmmakers selected to executive produce and direct a half-hour pilot for the PlayStation Emerging Filmmaker Program., which premiered on the PlayStation Network. Her feature film project, Freeze Dance is slated to film in late 2021.

Her directing clients include Google, Caesars Palace, Revlon, and Converse, and she also served as a creative director of digital content for the Tony-award winning Broadway production of An American in Paris. Her music video work has garnered millions of views and Billboard premieres for bands KEZAR and The Brevet.

Her musical short film, The Bright Side, received a Student Emmy Award and the ASC student Heritage Award. She earned her BA in Broadcast Journalism from The University of South Florida and an MFA in Film Directing from Chapman University, where she was closely mentored by filmmakers Martha Coolidge, Andy Lane, Michael Phillips, and Leslie Dixon. Sarah has shadowed filmmakers Ryan Case and Melanie Mayron, and assisted writer/director Nancy Meyers.

When not writing and directing, Sarah dabbles in cocktail making (@backyardbarcart), gives cozy snugs to her golden retriever (@tobythegoldie), and aspires to get her aerial cartwheel back from her gymnast days (attempts not pictured).

She is represented by VERVE, Circle of Confusion, and Nelson Davis Law.
